Meet Brenda Sisane
Our Creative Director
Brenda Sisane is an accomplished journalist, broadcaster and community organizer who is recognizable to jazz listeners in her native South Africa from her long-time work as a host on Johannesburg-based KAYA FM. Sisane also serves as Executive Director of the non-profit SPIN Foundation and has been a dedicated advocate for International Jazz Day since its early days. As the founder of Jazzday South Africa she works with organisations to bring change in society through music and culture.

Kyle Shepherd, one of South Africa’s foremost pianists, composers, and jazz ambassadors, continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Renowned for his unique compositional style, Kyle recently celebrated the release of his new album with sold-out performances, further cementing his place as a leading voice in South African jazz.

As PACT’s CEO, Azuke Ntapane is tasked with keeping Journey to Jazz on track and on budget, as well as ensuring the organisation is compliant and adheres to requisite governance. Blessed with unending patience, Azuke is detailed oriented, warm-hearted but a firm leader, which is necessary to deliver PACT’s vision.
