The LangJan Project

Sally Arnold, botanical artist and art tutor who works on an international scale both in Europe and SA is delighted to join the children of PACT in the creation of a 15 meter pastel chalk drawing of the indigenous plant Athanasia Tormentosa – which is both buttery yellow and tall. Through movement activities, the PACT children will mimic the plant’s movements in the wind and get a sense of its scale.

Local community artists and art facilitators Elcado Blom and Ethan Martin join Sally and the children in this art experience to be exhibited at the PACT Centre during the festival.
